Yemen Company for Industry and Commerce

Founded in 1970, the Yemen Company for Industry and Commerce (YCIC) is the first private industrial company in Yemen with the objective of manufacturing products that meet community needs and creating job opportunities.

Production started on 30th September 1971 with two production lines for biscuits and confectionery. The company started with 120 workers and an annual production capacity of 8500 tons.

The company has registered several stages of development and became one of the largest establishments in the food industry in the Middle East.
