Yemen Co. for Flour Mills & Silos, a company engaged in the production and marketing of Wheat Flour and other allied products, is part of the pioneer industrial and trading group – Hayel Saeed Anam Group of Cos. in Yemen.  The Company was established in the year 1997 with the aim of providing the local population with good quality wheat flour and allied products at the affordable price band.   

Built according to the latest international specification, the Company began production in the year 2000 with two production lines bought from the leading Swiss manufacturer, Buhler AG, with an overall production capacity of 1500 tons per day and a storage capacity of 60,000 tons & within a short span of time, the Company was able to establish its presence in the Yemeni / International markets and the ever increasing demand for the Company’s products compelled its management to consider further expansion. 

 Thus, the Company witnessed two major expansions in the recent past, which increased its production capacity to the current level of 3750 tons per day & with a storage capacity of 170,000 tons achieved this year.  This has made the Company the biggest Flour Mill in the Republic of Yemen.  The collection of most modern equipment / machines, best available to the industry as of date, coupled with highly skilled workforce has helped the Company make its presence felt in the international arena. The Company has, since the start, been able to continuously upgrade its technologies and skills of its manpower by providing them with adequate training both locally and in abroad.
