METCO was established in 1970 in order to cater to the needs of the Yemen market and to achieve leadership in the fields of distribution and marketing of imported and local products. Over the past three decades, METCO has grown to become one of the most reputable and diversified trading companies in Yemen with branches covering major cities with an excellent network of wholesalers and retailers utilizing its huge fleet for distribution. With a view to supplying products of high quality to customers, METCO   has established adequate resources with the assistance of qualified staff and constructed spacious goods storage facilities for products meeting conformity of products, spare parts, and international health and safety regulations.

From the beginning, METCO has invested a lot in developing its manpower resources.  METCO has also established comprehensive social and benefit schemes for the whole staff. METCO over the past few years has demonstrated in tangible terms its commitment to the development of the country and society.
