Al- Saeed High Institute for Engineering & Management
With an objective to train and upgrade local manpower so as to successfully substitute the foreigner equivalents, the TAT center was established in 1986. After extensive research and visits to a number of European and Asian countries more advanced in the concerned field and consultations with competent foreign and local organizations, the TAT center was finally incorporated.
The center comprises the following:
- Five spacious halls for lectures and practice
- Electrical and electronics departments, equipped with hi-teach practical training devices
- Fully equipped electrical and mechanical maintenance sections
- Mechanical department houses state-of-the-art machinery used in etching, welding, filing drilling etc.
- Conference hall with a capacity of 250people
- A library with more than 2000 references
Center Educational Procedure:
- Higher secondary school and technical school graduates (electrical, electronics, and mechanical) are admissible for the training center their admission is based on a scrutiny screening.
- A two-year training program inclusive of on-job training.
Trainees Benefits:
- Salaries and the usual benefits are similar to that of a normal employee of the HSA group, during the training period.
- A technical diploma on successful completion of the training program.
- The successful candidates are absorbed as operating technicians in one of the HSA group companies.
- A total of 973 high-qualified graduates have graduated from the center up to the year 2003. In addition, the center has executed 613 training programs and 9516 participants benefit from them. All of those who left the center have successfully carved their own niches in the group's companies.
- Not only have they replaced foreigners but also gained promotions up to supervisory level.
